While stationed at Breitenbush Oregon, and hiking the Enchanted Forest trail, I was open to receive the repeating message of "Love Thy Mother"... a sense of urgency to give respect and to surrender to Mother Earth, that we may hear her cries, and get back in tune with the Great Spirit that exists all around and within us.
Noticing the patterns of nurturing, from our own mothers who give themselves completely so that we may grow and be nourished, as well as the nurturing arms that Mother Earth provides for us to regain balance in our lives.
The sound of the water running in this song is actually a creek where I spent a lot of time at Breitenbush, contemplating this message.
The line: "I become its flow" reminds us that when we are sitting next to a creek or river and feeling like we are one with the body of water, it is because we are; Being composed mostly of water. Allow it.
